If you follow this recipe and you utilise all of the ingredients in the mix, your profile will be set and ready to persuade every viewer that comes into your profile into becoming a brand new follower.

So, in order to achieve the perfect profile you should have…

  1. A simple handle (e.g. First and Last Name OR Niche + Nickname OR Brand Name)
  2. A high quality portrait with a non-distracting background
  3. A low following (of less than 100 if you have hit the 10,000 followers mark)
  4. Your target niche after your name (e.g. Lou | Mindset, Motivation, Discipline)
  5. A biography where the
    1. first and second line are
      1. what value you are providing → as a benefit and not a fact (e.g. Helping You Achieve Your Dream Life OR Turning Your Passion Into Profit)
      2. Quote → relatable and authoritarian OR Social Proof → builds trust (e.g. Forbes 30 under 30 OR Gave 1,000 Clients Their Dream Body)
    2. last line is a:
      1. CTA (Call To Action) → appears professional and might make them stay in your profile for longer (e.g. Follow For Daily Motivation OR Free Nutrition Guide)
    3. Emojis are all on the left side and they are representative of the line they are in. Make sure the 3 emojis fit together in an aesthetically pleasing way.
    4. Finally, a link. Keep it short, I don't want to see any “…” in your profile.
  6. High quality & simple highlight covers (all of them in the same style, of course). Keep the name of each highlight simple, preferably 1 word. Side Note: Never use the name of the highlight as the cover of the highlight, we don't need to see it twice.
  7. Bonus Tip: Try to keep your feed simple and aesthetically pleasing also. For this you can simply use the same LUT(filter) throughout all of your edits or create a pre-made cover like the example down below.
